The actual birth of a child is one of the most memorable and meaningful experiences that a family can have. Making the transition from the hospital or birthing center to the home can be challenging with the mother recovering from birth and the family adjusting to a new sleep schedule. My work focuses on bringing families a sense of calm and confidence as they face the obstacles and challenges of having a baby. I am dedicated to making this time a positive experience.
As your postpartum doula I will care for your family as you recover. From new mothers welcoming their first baby home to more experienced moms who may be welcoming a second or third baby, I will help prepare meals, do laundry and light housekeeping/organization, run errands and help with pets. I will provide infant feeding support (breast, bottle or formula) as well as infant soothing techniques.
I also provide overnight care as sleep is vital to a mothers's physical and mental health.
I am available via text, phone, or email 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for as long as you need me.
I am a married mother of four adult children, and a grandmother of two. Being a mother has been the greatest joy of my life. Through my business, I aim to share my joy for motherhood, supporting mothers to also find joy amidst the inevitable chaos that motherhood can bring. I am a PostPartum Doula, a Lactation Educator as well as a member of CAPPA. I am certified with the American Heart Association in Adult/Child/Infant CPR, AED and choking.
